Your story must be an original and not posted anywhere else on the internet or plagiarized.

Your story must contain one or more mythical creatures. You may use an existing mythical creature or one of your own creation.  NO TWILIGHT OR ANY OTHER FAN BASED RELATED MATERIAL OR CHARACTERS, PLEASE. Your story must be between 20,000 and 40,000 characters long.

Your story may be about any genre, (except fan fiction) as long as it contains one or more mythical creatures. 
 
Your story may be any rating, except MA. Please no graphic sex scenes.

Please edit, edit, edit... check for spelling and punctuation errors... it will be much easier for the judges to judge your story if they don't have to read around major mistakes and try to guess at what you are trying to say.
 
There will be 3 judges. Their names will be kept private until after the deadline for submitted stories. This is so that favoritism and or bribing will not take place.
 
There will be a private group called... CONTEST... that you will post your story in when you're ready to submit it. Only those that have entered the contest will be allowed inside the group. When you're ready, please request permission to join the group. Once your story has been submitted, you have 2 days for any last minute editing, then your name will be taken off of the groups members list, so you cannot continue to edit or write on your story after you've submitted it.
 
To enter the contest, please send me your name as it appears on Writer's Cramp, (your profile name) and the title of your story. If you don't have a title right off, just send me your name. You may do this by internal site mail... (inbox). Just click on my name and send me a message with your details.
